Before arriving at the fair, some preparations can be considered, in order to optimize your fair experience.
Is it sales, branding, networking and/or customer relations?
How will you realise your goal?
Which impression will you give your visitors? Prepare a pitch for new potential customers.
How is your stand visually created? Any activities or features? How do you expect to attract visitors to your stand? Take a look around… does something need to be remove and/or others highlighted?
Does every employee know which part to play and what is expected of them?
Is your sales & marketing material up to date? Who is it directed towards? How many copies to bring? Is there special material or press kits for the press?
Make sure that there is continuity between your stand, employees, material, message and your overall goal and strategy.
Remember to invite your customers. A personal invitation from you always works!

Evaluation and follow-up are important elements for determining the success of the fair – remember that the predefined goal for participating in the fair should be analysed upon.
